Prof. Hilda Elizabeth Reynel-Ávila

Prof. Hilda Elizabeth Reynel-Avila is working as faculty member at Instituto Tecnologico de Aguascalientes, Mexico, since 2015. She has experience in the development and implementation of separation processes for environmental and energy applications, the modeling and the intensification of environmental remediation processes and biofuels production. She has collaborated in several projects related to production and purification of biofuels and water treatment. On the other hand, she has done research stays at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource in the National Accelerator Laboratory from Stanford University (USA, 2009) and the Laboratory of Advanced Materials from Universidad de Alicante (Spain, 2014). Dr. Reynel-Avila has contributed to the formation of 8 graduate students. Nowadays, she is supervising 10 graduate theses. She is a regular reviewer in international journals and participates in international collaborations. She is co-author of 42 research papers in JCR journals (H-index: 14, Citations: 689), 1 co-edited book, 5 book chapters and more than 90 international and national conference attendances.
